The UK could be one of the first countries to fingerprint under-fives – and possibly the first. When Malaysian police last year proposed fingerprinting of babies there were strong protests from civil liberties groups in the country.

Quote:
The Home Office confirmed it has been fingerprinting all children under five at its asylum screening unit in Croydon – where the Immigration and Nationality Department has its headquarters – and its Liverpool centre.

A spokeswoman said, “Fingerprinting is an established biometric technology that is known to work with very young children and for which there is already an established legal framework.” She added that there was no minimum age for fingerprinting in the trials.

Comment:

No minimum age. So, what's next? Vericool finger scanning systems in nurseries and primary schools?

Exactly what is it going to take before the penny drops? How much more of this crap are the British people going to take before there's a backlash?

This is all about control.

The whole concept of biometric identifiers and ID cards has nothing to do with the government wanting to provide security. It's about making sure the government can keep us all in line. They want to make model citizens out of all of us while they continue to lie and deceive. They are getting the kids used to being fingerprinted and scanned in schools. This has extended to night clubs and it will not stop there. The speed with which all this is happening alone should be setting off alarm bells.

Note how they have picked on the most disenfranchised section of society - asylum seekers.

It will not stop with asylum seekers - it never does.

As Martin Niemoeller put it: 'First they came for the Communists...'
