NO2ID

I asked this on the youthagainstid.org forum, but it seems to be pretty empty so I thought I'd cross-post it here.

In a couple of weeks, it's the Manchester University Freshers Fair, and we've got a stand booked for a "Students Against ID" society. The Youth Against ID website mentions that they have a Student Society Starter Pack available, but has no details on where to acquire one. Does anybody know?

This is the first I've heard of it. The office supplies new local groups with group starter packs, but we have not been treating students differently from anyone else, save to suggest that ID opposition should not be termtime activity only in university towns, and not an exclusively gown preoccupation there.

If you want any materials and have a means to distribute them, then contact the office.

If you want to form a student society and need me or another officer of NO2ID to countersign your application, so that the union knows you are part of a real organisation, then contact the office.

If you need to contact Youth Against ID directly then I believe youth@no2id.net will work, but it is an entirely independent and self-governed group, so I'm not able to tell you (or understand myself) how they operate.
