My wife (who works in a Comprehensive school) was asked today to be a referee on a form for one of her 15yo girl pupils. It was a CRB Check form.
Apparently, the girl turns 16 in June-ish, belongs to a dance club, is applying for her Dance Instructor's qualification, & is sometimes asked to "stay in the room with" younger children.
Apart from being morally reprehensible, is it legal to expect a minor to have a complete CRB check form?
BTW, neither my wife or I know whether it was an Enhanced CRB check, or otherwise, but my wife assures me it was the same form she was asked to complete when applying for her current position as a teaching Head of Department.
Good day, I wanna thank you for asking that question because I am also curious if that is legal in that
case? Thanks for those who will answer.
