NO2ID Edinburgh will be running its street campaigning stall on each of the Saturdays during March, weather permitting.
We shall be at our regular location at the east end of Princes Street, opposite the Balmoral Hotel, and we shall be there from 1pm-3pm each Saturday. So do stop by for a chat - or else to sign our petition and collect some leaflets and a badge. And, of course, new stall volunteers are always very welcome.
Well that's another winter's month we've chalked up without too much damage! Fortunately, after the frightful December the weather since has not been at all bad. As usual, we're getting a reasonable number of callers eager to sign the NO2ID petition. Although with the modified petition sheet and the absence of the donation 'prompt', we're now getting very little in the tin, which is a pity. However, on the positive side we get a good range of interesting visitors to the stall, including some from countries that have ID cards. Many of these people, although habituated to ID cards and associated database state systems, clearly dislike these things very much and so wish us well in our campaign!
