Do we have a list of names, or at least the number of people who have taken the No2ID pledge? I think being able to see all the other people who've signed it would give others the confidence to do so as well, and it could be sent to local MPs to show how much opposition there was to the ID Card scheme.

(I've done it, by the way)

Thanks,

Ewan

Rather than trying to collect names, NO2ID has put it out there for others to promote to reach as many people as possible.

I've got a picture of Nick Clegg signing a giant one if that helps. He said it was about the 7th he'd signed. ;)

The NO2ID wikipedia page says we have 60,000 registered supporters. I didn't know it was that high - maybe someone can confirm.

We also raised £40,000 from 4,000 donations of a tenner through Pledgebank.

Yes. Roughly. That includes some duplicates and a significant number who are in practice uncontactable, however.

Supporters are not evenly distributed. Some local groups have recruited thousands, even in quite small towns, others hardly any. So that 60,000 represents a potential many times larger.

The £40,000 Dave refers to was a one off exercise to make the basis for a legal fund. It is not any part of the money we have to spend day-to-day.

That's excellent! I didn't know there was that many either. I'd certainly like to see that pic :)
