SCL Information Governance Conference - Managing identity in a digital world - 12 May 2009

hereThis second annual SCL Information Governance Conference examines some of the key themes impacting on data management: the effect of the identity card regime on identity management and the new legal framework that is emerging from the ID card programme; the increasing role of the Information Commissioner and the likelihood that the notification of personal data breaches will become mandatory; the role of lawyers in the data security management environment; and the impact of new technologies like Phorm, SaaS and cloud computing on data security.
All lawyers who have an interest in data security matters and who may be asked to advise, perhaps in urgent circumstances, on data security matters need to listen to this podcast.
