I don't know if there are any, vinal sitckers that you could fit in the rear windscreen, with NO2ID logo on it.
As well as another slogan or 2.
Highly visible form of advertising, Car sales people still do it on number plates so it must still be effective.

Merchandise and leaflets seem to have been neglected for some time, is No2ID working on this...?

I suppose this does cost money for them to be done by a professional or time for someone to do them themselves.
Something which is thin on the ground.
But it may be an idea to put a little thought in.
Subliminal, small and/or thought provoking might be effective.

Donations are always going to help get things moving.

Anyone wanting to donate even a small amount should go to the No2ID homepage where you can donate by paypal etc. (left hand column of the home page):

http://www.no2id.net

Don't wait - if you're going to do it, do it now...

I've had the sticker in my car window for quite a while. I'm just about to donate the cost of my Labour Party membership to no2id as I've asked the Labour party for it back since I wrote to Tony Blair asking to leave the party in February.

You wouldn't consider working on it yourself?

Get in touch with your local group - they should be able to provide you with car stickers, as well as badges, T-shirts, etc. If you don't have a local group nearby, get in touch with local.groups at no2id.net and start one up!

It would be useful to let people know what No2ID is already doing to update our existing flyers so that "guest" doesn't waste time on something that doesn't get used.

It's also unfair to assume everyone has the DTP skills or campaigning experience to create a high quality flyer.

I WOULD have a sticker in my car, but even as a one time Labour supporter, I can't afford one due to the pittance Blair's cronies INSIST I can live on these days, after being FORCED to take retirement through heart problems brought on by my job. i am still against the idea of id cards and always will be.

There's allready window stickers that are given to new members. I have one up in my window, and I guess these could also be put on car windows.

Not sure of the point of your post. You want a free sticker?

They cost about 50p. One less car journey should buy you about 4.

thank you for your opinion, but where i live, we need a car due to pathetic public transport. then again i ONLY use the car when i have to, not for joy-riding.
as for not being able to afford a car sticker, i have to watch what i spend unlike some on benefits and £400 per week plus, that i KNOW some get and there is nothing wrong with them other than the fact they are CHEATS.

What is your view therefore of the argument that ID would provide a solution to this problem?

READ what I wrote and you will SEE I am on LOW pay, so have to watch the pennies, where YOU may have to watch the pounds and weight not cash like me.

Brian, if you let me know your address (e-mail or PM me), I'll gladly send you a car sticker.

This idea of everyone having the same flier is a little outdated. We have the web now and we have desktop printers that can do you a full colour print quality sticker for about 10p. All we need is some artists and a facility at the NO2ID site where people can design their own stickers and then upload the graphics file for anyone else to use. Then everyone can have a different kind of sticker to stick anywhere they like.

Printing jobs are only worth it if you are going to do 100's of thousands but considering the cost of postage and admin costs the electronic way makes far more sense. And we don't need to stop there either. Do you use another forum? Fancy a nice provocative signature in the form of a graphics file? There are many places where we can exploit this and the better the designs people come up with the more people are going to get into the idea.

Cafe Press (www.cafepress.com) allow you to upload your own designs and get them put on to different things, including vinyl stickers.

Alternatively, there are already official No 2 ID t-shirt designs on Cafe Press. Why not extend the range?

I know you have to pay trans-Atlantic postage, but I've found that if you buy a t-shirt from them, the total cost is no more than the average shirt in the UK. Having a sticker or two as well doesn't cost anything extra.
