I just picked my 3 year old daughter up from Nursery, she handed me a piece of paper with her picture on it and said it was 'her card.' I didn't really pay it much mind until we were home, had a look at it and she said it was her 'id card'. All the class had made them as a game. Looked closer and they had a section for their name, picture, a little eye that they had to colour in with the appropriate iris colour, a fingerprint section and her height.
I can't believe the conditioning is begining so early and that they didn't think some people may not wan't their kids indoctrinated. The wife is a parent govenor, so i am going to get her to kick up a stink aswell.
My daughter now believes having an id card is great fun.
