Is there anybody in support of this bill? Apart from Nulabour and all those people who think it will stop asylum seekers?

A few authoritarian Tories like Ken Clarke and Michael Howard probably still support it.

Regarding asylum seekers, they already have to submit to fingerprinting for a compulsory biometric ID card, so anyone using the above argument is just ignorant.

In Parliament? Apart from Labour, no-one from a few authoritarian Tories like those mentioned (you can probably include Ann Widdecombe too) and the UUP, but they only have a single MP anyway. But with Labour's majority they're probably stupid enough to just ignore the mountain of objections and protest anyway.
