Someone said ~30 Labour rebels had signed the EDM. I don't know if other potential rebels wouldn't know about it. However, we either need the DUP or we need about 60 rebels.

The new site helps:
http://mps.no2id.net/

However, after all our hard work, I think it would be stupid of us not to push for our freedom now.

Big question is how do we do it?

MPs tend to listen only to their own consituents or No2ID as a campaign group.

As an example, there are 4 MPs in Bristol, 1 (mine) is against, 2 voted for in the last Parliament, the 4th is a new Labour candidate.

One has never rebelled against New Labour, so I'm going to concentrate mostly on the other 2 and maybe start a letter writing campaign. I'm tempted to borrow a laptop, just so I can get people to write them there and then.

I'm also in touch with constituents from MPs near but not in Bristol.

I've got an e-petition with 88 signatures on it plus about 70 written ones from the Day of Action which I'm going to take in front of Bristol City Council next month, hopefully before the Third Reading and maybe get local news coverage as well.

I've specifically asked Roger Berry to consider abstaining if he is not prepared to directly rebel. He hasn't worried too much about rebelling in the past, though - so I guess he believes in this bill.
