Post subject: sectors which are suffering, Id cards are not affordable

Already the health Service is suffering. TB says they are providing more in the health area!... Then why are some hospitals in East Anglia closing units only to send Cancer patients to Essex for Treatment! The hospitial says it is cost effective....but hey what about "What is best for the Patient" after chemo or radiotherapy a patient will leave Broomfield hospital and drive all the way back to East Anglia...... Is this a wise move, can it be avoided, of course it can.... TB can from Gov. funds provide the hospitals with enough for successful patient care.... he is pushing these patients out into the private sector or the patients will not recieve care due to not being able to meet the journey distance and not to mention added traffic on the A12 and M25 when at a time he is calling for toll payments and reducing traffic due to green house effects......They are also now in the news for trying to recover money from the lottery fund to go towards the health service, when this is a government responsibility not down to the peoples money, who already pay taxes towards a health services that is crumbling before us everyday.......

I think we should be highlighting area's of which this money for ID cards can be better spent..... with sectors that are already being failed and highlight the ones that will suffer if billions are spent on id cards and time and effort is concentrated on this area.......

Do you have an sector you know or are concerned about, for the future if billions are spent and wasted on this card system?

This link supports the extent of the trouble, with not enough funds for Accident and Emergency units in the Suffolk area too.... They are calling for it to be mentioned in the house of commons.....
Looks like the gov. are cutting back in areas which effect the people to bring in this new id card idea.....this is an argument that can be in no2ids favour as the people are going to suffer if billions are ill spent! What is more important a card or our health....

With the slowing down of economic growth rates, resulting slow down in the rate of increase of tax income, and limits on the government's ability to borrow or raise taxes, there is absolutely no doubt that there is (and will be for the next few years) a huge squeeze on government spending. In these circumstances I am amazed that "Prudence" Brown has agreed to massive expenditure on a risky and unpopular scheme which probably won't work and which will deliver very few benefits. Perhaps its all part of his plot to discredit/replace the great leader?
