The decision has been taken not to include fingerprints in passports, so there would be no reason.
The only case where they might, is if you are a foreign resident seeking naturalisation, in which case you will likely already have been fingerprinted as part of obtaining a residence visa. Naturalisation and residence candidates put up with many indignities not visited on born citizens.
