This project is highly intrusive and contains all the elements of the database state we are campaigning agaisnt - pre screening, excessive data collection, excessive data retention, information sharing, automatic profiling and remote control of peoples movements.
One example is:
The possibility of e-Borders maintaining a form of centralised ‘disruptive passengers’ list that can be shared with carriers.
Consider that this allows an airline to put an individual on a Government black list without any recourse to the courts.
This consultation does allow an opportunity to put the case agaisnt mass surveillance and screeining - please use it!
