The EU is consulting on proposals for the use of RFID tags here http://ec.europa.eu/yourvoice/ipm/forms ... rm=RFIDRec

Some rather dodgy proposals to my mind, including the idea that states should actively promote the *benefits* of RFID technology to business...

Perhaps worth as many of us as possible responding?

(I found the link to this on the statewatch.org site)
