Apparently, the IPS has been outsourcing some of the ID checks that they perform for businesses. I believe the company is Telefonica.
This has led to a lot of problems with their firewall as they try to allow the outsourcing company access to their systems to perform the checks - which has obvious implications for their ability to maintain a secure database.
Don't know much else at the moment and I don't want to push to hard in case the guy gets nervous and clams up. Just wanted to put it out there so others can dig deeper.
