An arrest can show up on an Enhanced Disclosure even if you are not charged . The CRB should send you the draft first but tend not to . New guidelines in pipeline may change that . If it is disclosed it can be challenged . I am a solicitor who has dealt with this problem for 3 years and if you or other readers have a problem please call on 07505 961762 . I do NOT charge for an initial chat

i was asked to go to the police station 5 or 6 years ago and i wasnt warned - cationed or arrested i was just told what i was in for that was it and the police said dont worry basically but they didnt give me any papers or anything and they just interviewed me but told me not to worry as it was just a complaint against me also they had no evidence because it wasnt true, does that mean that will be on my crb check they told me i can have jobs still it was nothing serious. They even rang me up just to go in for a chat and that was it. i still worry about my CRB Check though can anyone help please.

from experience I can tell you that if you are on bail with a date and time to appear at a police station, even if you haven't been charged, it will be included on an enhanced CRB. The police will say why you were arrested, say that you are on bail and give the details -date and time- of when you are next to appear.
