He seems perfectly sane and coherent to me, though apparently highly-experimental "functional-MRI" testing is all the rage at the moment in the Psych circles so objectivity goes out of the window right from the kick-off.
(He never landed on ex Pres. GW Bush's Ranch btw, he intended to land at a nearby airstrip outside the no-fly zone and take a taxi to the ranch gate in order to hand-deliver a letter of thanks. Admittedly; FTAC's initial inception came about under Blair's cabinet. However Jacqui has basically sat in the Home Office for the majority of the time this dark and secretive organisation has been open for business. Therefore I stand by my post title.
The "Fixated threat Assessment center" (FTAC) is a quasi Home Office/Police/NHS organisation officially setup to augment "anti-terrorist" statutory powers even further. By the use of the Mental Health Act and in-house shrinks and community psychiatric nurses to cook-up medical reports, in order to detain people indefinitely in secure psychiatric units and forcibly "treat" them with strong anti-psychotic drugs to chemically lobotomize them.
"Patients" detained under such statutory legislation have extremely limited rights to appeal against such detention, to a panel made largely up of the peers of those who had them locked up in the first place. Rights to legal representation and adequate due process are virtually nil. It is perhaps one of the the greatest mockery's of Habeus Corpus in existence.
