http://tinyurl.com/lubacThe coalition government is committed to rolling back the surveillance state created by Labour. But we’re now having the most intrusive, privacy-breaking household census ever. There was a time when the questions fitted onto a single sheet of paper. Now you’re given a 28-page booklet (32 pages in England and Wales), together with a threat of £1,000 fine if you fail to fill it in or supply false information!
Before the general election the two coalition parties were solemnly promising that they would abolish the Labour project to centralise everyone’s health records. However, this continues apace, despite warnings from the BMA and doctors that without proper informed consent provisions this policy destroys a patient’s right to confidentiality.
As ever, NO2ID is fully committed to fighting such privacy-busting government actions. Come to our next meeting to explore where our campaign needs to go next.Public meeting - all are welcome. And if you're unable to get to the meeting you can still help us with the publicity by downloading our poster and displaying or distributing it, say at your place of work. And downloading is so very simple - just go
