Not a critism or anything, just an innocent query - but why is the civil liberties forum locked? Did it generate too much aggro?

Yes and no - there's a lot of things under the general heading of civil liberties that aren't the focus of the NO2ID campaign and are probably better discussed elsewhere.

The 'wide range of views' that inevitably emerge tend to degenerate quite quickly too...
