I would like to know why this was removed http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... court.html

Someone had a look and found out that they can't view it in the moderated forum. What have you done to the moderated forum?

It does seem that no2id are a bit over the top with there moderation. That is an important topic. Now Id cards are being scraped, what are you going to concentrate on?

NO2ID is a campaign against the database state. Terrorism Act police powers are obviously off topic.

The 'moderated' forum is only visible to you if you are registered and logged in.

I said that, someone had logged in with there name for me to have a look and said, the moderated forum has disappeared.

So it's not even in the moderated forum because the forum has gone. Can the mod explain please.

I don't have an answer to that! That section was supposed to be visible to registered users (and always used to be) so I will try and find out what happened and get something done about it though how soon that happens depends on who's around...

The other Guest is right about relevance to this forum - it's an important piece of news but somewhat outside our 'field' here.

And this one is probably better in 'errors and suggestions', so moved there.

Because we are determined to be a single-issue campaign and for the forums to contain information and discussion about the database state only, and not be hijacked by other hobby-horses.

I think the idea that moderated posts (other than spam, libel and other generally offensive material) should remain visible was that it should demonstrate to users, since we are not going to discuss it or negotiate about decisions, that our moderation policy is reasonable and consistent.
